Just got back from ER room.
Posted: Tue Jun 16, 2009 9:02 amTo start thing off I was spending the night at a friends house and we were watching Death Race, thinking "Gee Wilikers this movie is bad arse even though we watched it a million times" So we get on youtube and start watching some badass videos of free runners. By now it was about 1 am(yes as in 1 in the morning). Than suddenly the power went out and we had nothing to do inside, so we thought "We should go to the park and work on our badass Free Running skills" because with the power out and his parental units asleep we couldn't practice playing our instruments(what we usually do)
This is where it really starts - We were walking to the park and he asks "What time is it" and I told him about 1 am. He said his parents could still be up so we should wait for another 30 minutes or so before leaving (we were caught by his dad at 3 am coning last time I spent the night, so we were being cautious). His dad and sister put up a volleyball/badgammon net earlier that day so we decided to mess around playing volleyball.
I was kicking his arse. So we started getting more into it and we could barely see the ball for shit. He barely lobbed it over the net one hit so I spiked it at him and he didn't see the ball roll by him towards the canal/river he lives next to until it was almost there, so we boths ran towards it. He made it to the ball, but lucky me, on the way to get it I ran into one of the string/rope things holding the net up. I was running full speed and it caught me in the neck. Since I had enough momentum I plowed through the rope and the spiked end holding it down came flying up and hit my head. Now mind you I am 6'2" so that spike had speed and power to get that high.
The spike was stuck in my head pretty bad, it was at least 1/2 to 3/4 an inch in there. He ran and got his parents who had me go inside. He was freaking out at that point, I was pretty calm, probably due to the fact that I could see how bad it was. So to make the rest short his parents pulled it out and drove me home, my mom, who wasn't happy to get woke up at 1.15 or so unhappily drove me to the hospital to get it cleaned up, because the spike was in the ground and covered in dirt, so we got to the hospital checked in and got it cleaned out and two staples in my head and a tetnas shot (my last one was 10 years ago).
Now I have a fucking headache and its 3 am. So sorry if it doesn't make sense.
