Project Natal

Postby MaxW on Sat Jun 06, 2009 11:31 am

Peter Molyneux (Doomey's God) introduces us to Milo, using the Natal software that is being developed and was revealed at E3.

Here is a brief clip illustrating this incredible piece of kit.

Imagine what it would be like an RPG to actually interact with characters. Truly mind blowing.

I'm not sure I would actually like this Milo "game".

Interacting with a cpu kid, when I have a son of my own seems a little odd to me.

Milo itself is probably something I would give a miss. As you say, interacting with Milo would feel a bit odd. Might suit kids that perhaps don't have brothers/sisters/friends etc. And I don't mean that in a harsh way.

I am more interested in the level of interaction that this sort of software would be like in a game. For instance, when talking to NPCs in RPGs. As we have said before, action games and FPS is a long way off.

It hasa great idea in all, and would work in huge RPGs like Max said, but I would feel wierd hanging out with a virtual friend. They should let me play co-op games with Milo, now that would be epic.
