I had a temporary RROD from a power surge but then I just unplugged it overnight and it was fine. Heres hoping to a life of longevity for my first xbox :beer:

I'm a double memeber of this club! First xbox lasted about 1 1/2 years. Second lasted one. They better put that new 'Japer' chip in my xbox so it doesn't break again. or else heads will roll.

The second one died on the 20th i believe, and Jasper is a smaller and less overheating prone chip on the motherboard of the 360. Pretty much Jasper's don't break down that much at all.

When did the Jasper's chip come out? As I think all of them hjave them in now. I only got my 360 back in April last year, so hopefully I have this fabled Jaspers chip...
