Hi everyone,

This is a thread for those who love the Wii. I would like the legion of Nintendo fans to state reasons why they think people should get a wii.

Give it a go it fun!

Reson 1: My Friends Sega make great games for it with Sonic and Mario playing nicely together.

Plus wii has some great games.
Sadly the online sucks bum.

although the online sucks bum im realy enjoying mohh2 at the moment! ive never been into fps before but the control system on the wii has made it a little easier for me some great online battles going on at the moment!

i'd like to say mkwii too but im slightly dissapointe in it at the mo havn't managed many online races yet but the ones i have have been very frustrating

still love my ninty though as its keeping the ps3 dusty on the shelf

I have been avoiding my wii recently, I think being hooked to onlien play doesnt help, there is not many single player games I enjoy now.

That's not true I have been playing Mario Kart online and it rocks

Try connecting with my buddies in England then.

It will make the ocassional xbox lag look like a benefit.

I cannae even start to explain WHY I have not purchased Mario Kart (yet), I guess my love for Big N has soured. (Dont Cry Princess Daisy)

it's just me with MKwii i think! everyone else seems to be loving it i just had such hi hopes after the ds version which i had so much fun with i think after giving it more time i'll grow to love it (just hate those P blocks )

Give it a bit more time and I'm sure you will like it more Online mode is better than MK DS, addition of motorbikes is actually pretty cool and having the ability of using your Mii as a racer.

But have to say, although I do like MK Wii, I still prefer the DS version.

The battle mode in MK Wii has changed for the worse in my opinion. Unless I'm going blind, you can't really have a free-for-all mode anymore. It's all just points based.




Anyway, as for why I bought a Wii (on launch day for the record) - the controller and the games that take advantage of it.

mario kart is alot of fun online but the only reason i bought a wii is it is a fun console with some good games and its a nice new way to play games with more personal control though the remotes took me a while to get used to.
also the console was fairly cheap when it first came out so that was a nice added bonus.

I'm not actually too impressed with it...

I would like to get SSB , but sadly I dont partically want to buy wii games any more.
Microsoft has me hypnotised, I have fears of becoming a fan boy.

I honestly wouldnt like a Wii anymore. I dont like the controller. And their games are more family based. I know they have a few like RE and House of the Dead but other than a few its all mario and other games like that. I love my 360

i dont touch my wii anymore since i got my 360 wii is to blah on its games some are good they had a nice little rush of proper games at one points like red steel re4 metroid etc but now everygame that comes out is mario or sonic or sports

as reply to metal and samsy i have to agree with you in a way (but im more a mario man the serious gamer)

but check out the latest news on conduit (a wii exclusive fps) it looks amazing far better then anything else on the wii! hopefully this will kickstart the wii back into life again
