The store is getting better, but it has less of a market than the other consoles.

As 3 out of 4 versions (20GB, 60GB or 80GB not 40GB UK) have backward compatibility, with the 20GB and 60GB both having the better emotion engine which can play most PS1 and PS2 games at a better resolution and faster with less problems.

It is less necessary to sell people their old games again through a digital marketplace as they can play the originals without having to buy them again.

I know we where discussing this the other day, but I have an additional thought on the necessary thoughts of downloading games.

No stock to handle.
Newer customers can play classics instantly (kinda).

If I was one of the big software hosues I would be all other it like a rash.

Talking of which, one software house has decided to release all of its future wii titles, as dlc only!

Its the future kids, grab hold while you can. Which throws open a new debate? Would you prefer to downlaod titles int he future, or buy them?

I must admit, even now Im still not comfortable downloading things.

I like the idea of d/l things over buying them at stores because I dont usually have the free time to go to stores and I hate waiting for games to ship in from online.

The only thing I dont like is Xbox Originals. The price is kinda high and I just dont want to take up that much room on my HD. I think it would be cheaper to buy the actual game on ebay, assume it works with backward compatability (cause I know only a select few do) and it would take up less space memory-wise.

What I hate about redownloading games on xbox, is the no reward system.

I think there should be at least 200 achviement points for the original games, like you said other wise you could buy it from cheesebay.
