Animal Crossing: City Folk

Postby metalschrammer on Sun Mar 01, 2009 1:20 am

I picked this game up for me gf because at the time all we had was Wii Play and my old collection on Game Cube game. She loved the original so I thought Id surprise her with it. Its a lot like the original but different at the same time. They got rid of the grid mapping and now it feels like one big town instead of a bunch of little squares put together. It feels better but takes a little longer to learn where everywhere is. And now there is a city with stores and such. Other than that though it seems like the same exact game. Same "objective" if you will. Pay off the loan to your house, get it remodled and pay off the loan to the remodle. And of course theres the collect bugs, fish, fossils, and paintings for the museum. But I love it. Its such a laid back game that absorbs a lot of my time when Im not running and gunning on my 360 lol. Any of you minority Wii players picked this up or at least played the original? What do you guys think about it?
